Happy Monday,

I hope this message finds all of you and your families safe and well. Our App Challenge this week is to create a Text-To-Speech app. Like last week’s challenge, this is a simple app and should not take very long. Again, you do not need to turn this challenge in to me or tell me you completed it.

As a reminder, I posted all the codes we used during our App Inventor course to this web site. However, I also added that PowerPoint file to the weekly email sent Monday morning. Additionally, I added most of the .aia files (App Inventor files) that we created during the unit to that email as well. I could not attach the Germ Fighter app or Germ Guide app .aia files because they were too big for that email process. I cannot add them to this website because it does not support those type of files. However, if you want either of those two files I can email them separately to you if you request them specifically. You will need to import the .aia files into your App Inventor project folder to use them.

Good luck, have fun, and most of all, stay safe. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me.
