WELCOME TO FIRST LEGO LEAGUE!

 

When students are engaged in hands-on STEM experiences, they build confidence, grow their knowledge and develop habits of learning. When adults coach these students, they encourage them to try, fail, and try again, while connecting STEM concepts to real-world examples. This leads to students learning to think for themselves, not needing as much parental help. 

FIRST Lego League’s positive impact on people is exponential. Over 87% are more interested in doing well in school, and 88% have more interest in attending college. ​

People learn basic block coding or python, depending on their preference. They also learn formatting, researching, and presentation skills in the Innovation Project. These skills are all very useful for the next step of FIRST, FIRST Tech Challenge, AKA FTC.​
