WELCOME TO FIRST TECH CHALLENGE!
(FTC)

Also known as FIRST Tech Challenge or FTC, FIRST Technical Challenge is a robotics competition for students grade 7-12 that challenges them to design, build, and program robots to use in a head-to-head combat with other FTC teams at competitions.​
​
In FIRST Tech Challenge, all skill levels and experience; anyone from 4 year veterans or absolute beginners are welcome! FIRST Tech Challenge gives middle and high school students and their adult mentors the experience and opportunity to work together and solve an existing problem.

Our school FTC teams, Alpha Intelligence 15337 and Beta Bionix 17595, work alongside each other as sister teams, each individual assisting in fixating a bond that could not exist without them.
Meet Our FTC Teams!
Alpha Intelligence 15337
Alpha Intelligence 15337 is a team consisting of 15 members, ranging from 7th to 8th grade. They are an FTC team who have had BLMS as their home for more than 3 years, as of 2025. Alpha Intelligence is sisters with the other BLMS FTC team, known as Beta Bionix.
Beta Bionix 17595
Beta Bionix 17595 is a team consisting of around 16 seventh and eighth graders, as of 2025. Started in 2018 in hopes of creating a fun, nurturing place for students interested in STEM, Beta Bionix is an FTC team that is sisters with Alpha Intelligence.
